Welcome to the New Blog!
So people say that I have pretty random thoughts and I have a tendency to agree with them. At the same time though many people have said that I should write a blog to voice these rather random thoughts and in lieu of this I have fallen to peer pressure! So Welcome to my new blog!
So what kind you expect in this blog?
1. Updates on my music and upcoming shows and events. I will also be updating you guys on other local artists that I am in connection with!
2. Album Reviews! I will be writing reviews on the latest albums. Sadly, I won’t be able to cover everything but you should be able to see a good mix of rock, indie rock, singer/songwriter (you’ll probably see a lot of these), folk, and the occasional hip hop album! So if you’re looking to find new music or see what my thoughts on the newest album, you know where to look!
Besides, I figure that I’m going to be less biased then the “critics” (cough cough…pitchfork) but not to the point where I’m screaming like the pack of drunk chicks at every party when the latest poppy ditty comes on. I’m sure you know the phrase, it’s the “I LOVE THIS SONG!!! IT’S MY FAVORITE EVER! LETS DANCE!!” phrase. Let’s say I hope to find a good medium between the music “lover” and the music “liker” while avoiding the drunk chick persona.
3. General Music blog which will be about news and lists such as “the ten songs never to play at your wedding” or my favourite albums of the past year. I might also talk about songwriting and things of that nature here.
So please come often as I will be updating this blog every week.
